Our Ethical Policy

So that we can give our customers a flavour of how 'green' we are, we have identified the ten key areas of ethical, sustainable management measures that we feel are applicable to us.
Local and Sustainable Food
All staff at Total Raw Food Ltd are vegan, with a varying amount of raw food included. Managing Directors Tom Fenton and Jess Michael have a 99.99% raw vegan diet. We source seasonal and local organic / unsprayed bio dynamic produce for lunches.
Water Conservation
We use water efficient appliances, and collect our own rainwater.
Sustainable Materials
We use renewable and/or recycled materials, we make our own products, and use and sell locally made or UK made products too.
Sustainable Transport
We promote car sharing and the use of public transport, electronic transport and cycling / walking were possible. We conduct video conferencing intead of traveling long distances for meetings, where possible.
Carbon Reduction
We strive to be energy efficient and buy energy through a 'green' tariff, we use energy efficient light bulbs, and work in well insulated premises. We turn heating thermostats down by 1 - 5°C.
Culture & Heritage
We preserve, revive and promote local traditions, culture and agriculture.
Diversity and Fair Trade
We pay a fair wage, offer equal opportunity to all, and support fair trade within the UK and the rest of the world.
Ethical Finance
We donate to charity. We bank and save with an ethical bank.
Waste Reduction
We recycle paper, cans, glass, ink cartridges, compost waste. We re-use as much as we can like plastic bags, cardboard boxes, packaging and general fabrics. We reduce and recycle junk mail, print double sided, and avoid disposable items where possible. We buy recycled office materials, refuse sacks and stationary.
Corporate Policy
We have written and enforced policy on all of the above areas, which all our staff agree to abide by.
