Mind, Body & Fruit
Embarking on a new path can seem daunting and almost unreal, especially when it involves any diet changes and lifestyle changes. For anyone reading this there will already be a level of resonation with a raw food only diet - or fruigivore diet, as our ancestors would like it, and to be reading this article and others like it means you have asked questions of personal health and energy, and how to stop feeling tired of being sick and tired!
Yet questions still and will potentially remain for a long time, simply because a fruigivore has no regard to the current status of living - only in nourishing the body with usable nutrients and assimilable calories - no 'dead' weight so to speak, and this is natural. Not only physical health is key to tuning in to great energy, but the mind is equally as important to work with, as old beliefs fade and die out, and new ones test the waters of your psyche. Transitioning is especially a potential time of fragility, and ensuring the mind is given the right attention and stimulation is key to a more youthful life ahead.
Anything from reading to meditation to listening to music will feed the psyche and you will naturally find that the need to watch TV for hours every night (for anyone that does) will fade, as it did with me. Sure there are still moments when I like to 'crash out' and find easy stimulation, but this is far removed from days when I relied on something like TV for a top form of external entertainment.
Especially during summer it is just the perfect time to go out and explore nature and find solace in the the sun and the trees.
And not only is the mind and body satisfied with natural sugars and calories with fruit - which will modify your brain functioning to the point where the right side of your brain improves (as opposed to the dominant left side having all the say), your soul will soar even higher!
Methods to transition vary and there is no right or wrong way, considering everyone has different current situations and cirumstances. I know more than anything that women think more about weight and appearance than men, and will find this route in higher numbers, which is fine, and based on personal experience, I also know emotions can get in the way, and by just increasing the amount of superfoods you have in your diet can give that psychological edge, even if you intend to eat cooked food for an x amount of time.
Introducing fruit or raw food to any meal will benefit far more than not doing so, and having a breakfast of only a melon or some mangos or bananas will figure powerfully in feeling naturally inclined towards wanting to eat more naturally, through moderate exercise and positive mental stimulation will further the cause even more and you will find yourself in a win only situation in living a life as the ideal you.
