The peace within
At the end of the day we all want peace within, or in other words, to be at one with ourselves and others. To be able to achieve this, the requirement we ask of ourselves is that we be happy, and to be happy we need to be not only healthy, but energetic, enthusiastic and full of life.
Diet alone will not solve this conundrum, which humans have been facing since we evolved out of our natural habitat and more than likely since we evolved the capabilities beyond the need to survive.
When we step out of the 'diet will cure all' paradigm which many seem to hold court within their minds, suggesting that large or small changes in your diet alone will enhance your life and allow you to completely overhaul any problems you have, whether physical or psychological, opens up a whole new realm.
Lifestyle habits, thinking patterns, personal issues with people from past or present, repressed or unexpressed emotion, lack of physical health and inability to exercise, varying coping mechanisms, ungrounded desires and hopes, lack of understanding, inability to learn, lack of confidence and self esteem are all part and parcel to why we haven’t reached that state of oneness and self peace/peace with others.
Diet is just one thing that can help us to win through any or all areas in our lives we feel need improving, rather than being a silver bullet which will shoot through the above list and more. And so rather than diet in itself being the crux of our lack of health, rise of dis-ease, poverty, inequality, war and pollution/economic downturn, it is better explained as being a catalyst to either bettering ourselves and our world through individually working through personal obstacles to the ‘oneness’ we all seek, or of course making everything worse by continuing to feed the negativity and lack of awareness around what actually causes our current global health epidemic, blocking our path to finding that all important self love/self peace and unified ‘oneness’.
It is possible for everyone to reach what Maslow deemed ‘Self Actualisation’, but where diet is concerned, making certain changes will certainly allow us to reach this state with a little less struggle, if I may be so bold to claim as such. The trick will be in taking steps to improve upon every other area of our lives, which may not relate to diet alone.
My E-book ‘How to Create Your Raw Reality’ delves into the non dietary improvements and elements that can be improved upon without limitation, and may allow improvements in diet to take place in turn, if inspiration can be found within its pages.
